Zion Riverwalk During Snowstorm

Zion Park is less than an hour from where I live, so it will probably be a popular subject for me.

This photo was made during a snowstorm December 12, 2009.

Heart

A quick acknowledgment of Valentines day. While it would be nice to sometimes have a heart of iron to avoid the heartache, but then you would leave out the capacity of love.

Snow Day

A snowfall just before Christmas in 2008 created this scene.

Drying mud

Actually, it’s mud, but looks better than most mud.

12″ x 8″ is my favorite size for this.

Tommy Too from Kitty Motel

Tommy Too

Tommy Too came right up to the camera while I was visiting his room up at Best Friends. More on Tommy Too can be followed in the face Book page for Kitty Motel.

Tommy Too as a print is available at 12×12 and 8×8.

Pair of Webs

This image is from my first photography workshop with Doug at Breitenbush Hot Springs. I remember climbing around in the forest looking for a picture of nothing when I looked over my shoulder and saw this scene. I first focused on the foreground web and made several images, then tried with the web in the background gaining focus.

Webs at Breitenbush

This image works well as an 8″ x 10″ print.

Tomorrow, I think something from closer to Kanab.

Fresh Start

barbed wire in Eastern Oregon

Barbed Wire in Eastern Oregon

I made this photo on my drive back from Breitenbush Hot Springs after a wonderful photography workshop by Douglas Beasley.

The original of this works well in large format at 36″ across.

My wife and I were driving through Eastern Oregon at the time and this bit of wire is near one of the rest stops.
